Terms of Service
Last updated October 3, 2026
By creating an account, using a guest account, or accessing TalkTogether, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account.
The service
TalkTogether provides random matching, nearby and language filters, rooms, direct messages, media sharing, and realtime calling. Features may change, be unavailable, or be limited to protect users and the service.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant TalkTogether a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, display, resize, moderate, and otherwise process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the rights to anything you upload or share.
Acceptable use
You may not harass or threaten others, impersonate people, share private information without permission, exploit minors, distribute illegal or infringing material, send spam, evade safety controls, scrape the service, interfere with calls or infrastructure, or use TalkTogether for fraud or unlawful activity.
Rooms and moderation
Room owners and co-owners may manage participants, cameras, room details, and invitations. They may remove participants, but TalkTogether may also review reports and restrict or terminate accounts or rooms. User moderation decisions do not represent TalkTogether.
Safety and real-world interactions
People may misrepresent themselves. Use caution, protect personal information, and do not rely on TalkTogether for emergencies. If you meet someone in person, choose a public place and tell someone you trust.
Accounts and termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or preserve evidence when reasonably necessary for safety, violations, legal compliance, or service integrity.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the conduct, identity, or content of other users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalkTogether is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent through the app.
